Dr. Susanne Durst is a Full Professor of Management at Reykjavik University. Her research interests include knowledge (risk) management, entrepreneurial exits, responsible digitalization and sustainable business development in the context of small entrepreneurial organisations.
She has been conducting several national and international research projects on knowledge management, SME business transfers, corporate governance, risk management and innovation management.
Her work has been recognised through different awards, including Emerald Literati Awards for „Outstanding Paper“ in 2020 and 2023 and has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. She has taught and researched in various countries. She also has professional experience outside academia.
